Services for Mary “Janie” Carpenter , 75, of Wills Point, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, TX with Donald Waldner officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.
She passed away December 21, 2015, in Dallas, TX.
Mrs. Carpenter was born November 16, 1940, in Alto, TX to Forest Grogan and Geneva Meadows Grogan.
Janie grew up in Alto. She was an outgoing and kind person who enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts of all kinds and loved her grandchildren dearly.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sons,, Richard & Jennylyn Carpenter of Wills Point, TX; Tracy Carpenter of Wills Point, TX, and Donald Carpenter of Wills Point, TX; Granddaughters, Morgan Carpenter of Wills Point, TX, and Rachel Carpenter of Wills Point, TX, Grandsons, Ryan Carpenter of Irving, TX, Vincent Carpenter of Wills Point, TX, Robert Carpenter of Wills Point, TX and Albert Carpenter of Wills Point, TX; Sister, Ginger Lippert of Houston, TX and Brother, Dwain Grogan of Alto, TX.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
