Mildred Marie Lawrence

Mildred was born December 18, 1928 in Wills Point, Texas to Nathan Holland and Della Bennett.

She passed away August 30, 2018 in Forney, Texas.

Mildred was raised in Terrell and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed movies, shopping, being outside and eating fast food. Mildred loved spending time with her grandchildren and playing games with them.

She is survived by her Daughter, Linda Powell; Daughter, Christie Lawrence; 11 Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; 7 Great-Great Grandchildren; Sister, Wynell Carter; Sister, Wynice Blackwell; and Brother, Junior Bennett.

Mildred is preceded in death by her Parents, Nathan & Della Holland; Son, Tommy Carnes; Daughter, Rose Alexander; Brother, N.V. Holland; Brother, Billy Joe Holland; Sister, Louise Phillips; and Sister, Dorothy Craig.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, one hour prior to the service.
