Morgan Brittany Goggans

Services for Brittany Goggans, 35, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Interment will be in Cool Springs Cemetery.

Brittany passed away at her home in Tyler on November 6, 2020. She was born May 27, 1985 in Tyler.

Brittany was a member of Tundra Baptist Church. She grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School where she was a member of the Mighty Canton Eagle Band. Brittany was a very spunky and strong person even though she battled diabetes from two years of age. With all the difficulties that diabetes brought her way, she handled them with grace. Brittany loved her family and spending time with them, but her greatest joy was her son, Derek.

Brittany is preceded in death by her grandparents, L.Q. (Red) and Ruby Hunter, Carson Goggans, and Valretta Summit; and her cousin, Derek Shane Hutson.

Brittany is survived by her son, Derek Reese Schultz Goggans; mother, Annette Hunter Goggans and Terry Smith; father, Michael Goggans and step-mother, Heather Goggans; sister, Carrington and Tanner Smith; nephew, Carson Smith; sister, Mattie Largin; step-grandmother, Diane Stepp; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tanner Smith, Cody Goggans, Garrett Bryant, Chris Kuhn, James Bailey and Deryk Broyles.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Guests are asked to wear a mask and remember social distancing protocols.
