A funeral service for Nancy Janet Belken Wall, 86, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Eubank Funeral Home, Travis Arden officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Nancy passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022 in Wills Point, Texas. She was born on May 28, 1935 in Denton, Texas to Paul Vincent Belken and Velma Inez Page Belken. She graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1953.
Nancy, “Nana” as she was called by her grandchildren, was a nurturing woman. She would have given you anything she had if you were in need. She loved living in the country and driving around seeing the countryside. Nancy enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, had a sweet tooth, and loved making others laugh. Some of her childhood hobbies included roller skating and horseback riding. More than anything Nancy loved spending time with her family. Nancy was Church of Christ by faith. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
“Though her smile is gone forever and her hand I cannot touch. I still have so many memories of the one I loved so much. Her memory is now my keepsake, which with I’ll never part. God has her in his keeping, I have her in my heart. Sadly missed, but never forgotten”
Nancy is survived by her son, Steven and Mari Wall; daughters, Brenda and Russell Dennis, Paula and Phillip Arden; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; brother, Melvyn and Vila Belken; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Velma Belken; brother, Gary Paul Belken.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that you consider donation to Alzheimer’s Association or the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
