Pamela Jean Fontenot

Pam went home to the Lord on March 17, 2021. She was born on August 3, 1948 in Canton, Texas. Pam’s family lived in Canton till she entered 3rd grade and the family moved to Groves, Texas. Pam met and married her true love, David Fontenot on June 29, 1968. They were married 52 years. Pam was a member of First United Methodist Church for many years. Pam loved the Lord and life. She enjoyed traveling, camping and photography. She spent her free time “Stamping Up” making cards for every occasion. Pam never met a hobby or craft she didn’t like, she was always doing some type of hobby or craft. Her pride and joy was being a mother and grandmother. She has left an empty place in the hearts of all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Georgie Lide.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, David Fontenot; son, Jeffery David Fontenot; grandchildren, Justin Alan and Taylor Marie; great-grandchild, Waylon; sister, Judy Maxwell; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Andrea Lide, Gary and Tammy Lide.
