Patricia Jean Huckeba

Patricia went home to the Lord on June 30, 2024 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on December 14, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Hollan Foster and Eula Mae Cobb Foster.

Patricia grew up in Rylie, Texas and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School, where she was on the Apache Bell Drill Team. She was voted “Most Beautiful” in high school and she was, inside and out.

Patricia raised a wonderful family in Mesquite, Texas. She enjoyed decorating, sewing and making floral arrangements. Patricia has enjoyed the country life for the last couple of years, settling in Eustace, but her true happy place was at the ocean. Patricia loved scuba diving, relaxing on the beach and anything to do with the ocean. Cozumel was a favorite vacation spot. She could talk for hours about the beauty seen through her scuba diver’s eyes. Patricia pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. Time with family was very special to her. Patricia will be dearly missed but live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Hollan and Eula Mae Foster; husband of 21 years, Justin Goodman; husband of 15 years, James Huckeba.

She has left her gift of the love of the ocean to her children: Tammy Goodman Romero, Stephen Goodman and Patrick Goodman and wife, Donna; grandchildren: Hunter Romero, Spencer Romero and Ava Goodman; great grandchild, Fisher Romero; brother, Gary Foster and wife, Sherry; a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers: Brad Wiser, Jason Wiser, Kevin Allen, Terry Paul Stevens, Brett Morrison, Michael Montgomery.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas.
