Rhonda was born on February 5, 1967, in Dallas to Stanley and Patricia Dosier Gordon. She grew up in Mesquite and attended Mesquite High School where she was on the Allstar Drill Team and graduated in 1985. Rhonda received her Bachelor’s Degree, Cum Laude, from University of North Texas in 1989. On July 28, 1990, she married Kevin Zane Meredith. They had two children, Cale Zane and Payton Leanne. Rhonda’s favorite pastimes were shopping with her daughter and friends, sitting by the pool and Disney and tropical vacations. She loved to decorate the house, especially for springtime. Rhonda loved her family and her dogs, Kate and Presley. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Rhonda is survived by her husband, Kevin Zane Meredith; son, Cale Zane Meredith; daughter, Payton Leanne Meredith; her parents, Stanley and Patricia Gordon; aunt and uncle, Della and Jerry Cernock.
She is preceded in death by Granny, Christine Williams and Papaw, Larry Williams.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney Texas.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Fellowship Forney Church.
