

Rhonda passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, Texas on September 16, 1952 to Ruth and Clyde Bell.
Rhonda married her best friend and soulmate, Fred E. Tunstill on April 3, 1970 in Dallas at Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God. The two families were very close. Rhonda and Fred had two daughters, who were loved very much; the biggest gift Rhonda felt God gave them was her loved and cherished grandchildren. Rhonda was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Canton. Her hobbies included baking, canning sewing, playing the piano and spending as her time with family.
Rhonda was involved and worked in many areas. She graduated from Justin F. Kimball. She was a Blue Bird and Campfire Leader in Dallas and Frankston. A mission leader at Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God in Dallas, secretary and treasurer of Leila Pl Cowart PTA in Dallas, member of the PTO in Frankston and Canton, member of Coffee City Fire Department, Emergency Care Attendant, Emergency Medical Technician, Certificates in Firefighting, hazmat, radiation, IV and phlebotomy as an EMT. Rhonda was treasure of Liberty Hill cemetery. She attended and graduated with honors from Tyler Junior College Nursing School. Rhonda worked at Nan Travis Memorial Hospital skilled unit, Angel Home Health and Frankston nursing home as Charge Nurse. She also worked at Stewart Blood Center and worked as a jailer/night sergeant – later as the jail nurse for the Van Zandt County Sheriff's office.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Clyde Bell; sister, JoAnn Smith and grandson, Bo McNeil Shaw.
Rhonda is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Tunstill; daughters, Angela Gail who married Sheb Shaw and Stacy Lynn Rash; grandchildren: Morgan Tunstill and Jimmy, Cooper Shaw and Megan, Cole Shaw and Katie, Cade Shaw and Claire, Ayden, Clyde, Wyatt, Mack; great granddaughter, Isabella and great grandson, Cameron; Sisters, Kathy Morris and Don, Carolyn Evans and Kenneth; numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at DFW National Cemetery on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
