Interment will be held at Mesquite City Cemetery in Mesquite, TX.

Robert passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Canton, TX.

He was born on July 2, 1954, in Dallas, TX to R.B. and Shirley Green Briley.

Robert grew up in Wills Point. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in the yard and he especially loved the Texas Hill Country. He was a Christian and loved his family and friends dearly. Robert was a member of Clearview Bible Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nelda Briley; daughter, Brandy Cumming and husband Eric; daughter, Becky Baugh; son, Beau Briley; grandson, Brian Bostick and wife, Ashley; grandson, Nesby Bostick; granddaughter, Brooklynn Shelton and husband, Collin; grandson, Briley Vaughan; grandson, Case Cumming; grandson, Zachary McEnturff; great grandsons, Brennan Shelton and Asher Bostick; brother, Ron Briley and wife, Jeri; brother, Richard Briley and wife, Sandra; brother in law, Johnny Barnett and wife Lynn; two nieces and three nephews.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
