Sandy grew up in Haskell, Arkansas and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas. She moved to Texas and worked as a branch manager for a home health agency. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She was known as "Momma" by her children and "Gugs" by her grandchildren. She was and will continue to be dearly loved by her family. Sandy loved music, cooking and laughing.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Wanda Harris; granddaughter, Taylor Layne; sister, Marilyn Petruk; and brother-in-law, James Lott.
She is survived by her children: Jack Cody and Christina Guin, Callie Harris Gwin and Larry Gray, Cassandra Jackson, Kyle and Natalie Shumate, Connor Shumate, Kevin and Heather Moore; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Lott; and in-laws, Hardy and Cleo Shumate.
