Stefan Oarsa

Mr. Oarsa passed away July 23, 2023, in Canton. He was born May 26, 1934, in Timisoara, Romania to Stefan and Eva Mercea Oarsa.

Mr. Oarsa grew up in Romania and immigrated to America, specifically Dallas, Texas, in 1984. He was a plumber and built homes. Stefan learned his trade at a very young age, and all through his life he applied his knowledgeable work and experience to large construction projects but also small ones for single homes and properties maintenance. He thrived being thorough and meticulous in everything he did, and his customers would describe him as the person to call when wanted things to be done correctly to the very last detail. Mr. Oarsa enjoyed traveling, watching wrestling, classical music, reading, history, geography and learning about all kinds of subjects. He was always inquisitive. He loved exploring and learning how things work and always shared his knowledge retelling his experiences.

Mr. Oarsa is preceded in death by his wife, Nada Oarsa; and his grandson, Sebastian Ostoin.

Stefan is survived by his two daughters and their husbands: Teodora and Milan Ostoin of Canton, and Cristina and Barron Fraker of Arlington; three grandchildren: Alexander Walters (Camille), Roxanne Walters (Robert) and Stefany and John Graves; four great-grandchildren: Colten, Cannen, Conner, and Tree.
