Services for Tessie Juanita Durham, 90, of Canton, will be held 10 am Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Richard Fairbanks officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories.
Mrs. Durham passed away February 21, 2023 in Canton. She was born March 27, 1932 in Dallas to Tim and Mabel Louvania Jones McGregor.
Tessie grew up in the Dallas area for many years. She worked as a dispatcher for Continental Trailways until she moved to Canton in 1973. Tessie was an active member of Tundra Baptist Church for many years helping with Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir. She had recently joined Walnut Springs Baptist Church to be with her family. Tessie enjoyed yard work and gardening.
Mrs. Durham is preceded in death by her husband, George M. Durham; parents: Tim and Mabel McGregor; sisters: Jean Songer and Virginia Hammond; and a niece, Lisa Evans.
Tessie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George Michael and Lilia Durham of Canton; daughter, Donna Ruth Warren of Lampasas; five grandchildren: Kenny, Misty, Amanda, Miguel and Christina; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ray McGregor; and sister-in-law, Doris Crow.
Pallbearers will be Victor Rios, Johnny Rios, Ricardo Rios, Kenny Grindele, Adam Kennon and Miguel Durham. Honorary pallbearers will be Kelvin Earl and Lorenzo Chavarria.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
