Mrs. Therese (Terri) Ann Gilbreath Cossey, age 70, passed away June 29, 2018, at home under the care of Reflections Hospice of Texas and Dr. Jimmy Dailey, MD. She was born February 24, 1948, in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Wylie Francis Gilbreath and Earline Mary Bowman. She lived all her married life equally yoked (2 Cor. 6:14) with her husband, Wendell Lamar Cossey, since September 21, 1968(49years), as they lived in Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas.
Not many know she was formally trained as a gourmet salad chef at Simon David in Dallas and worked for Tom Thumb. From that position, she was tasked to train as a food services manager in the Plano, Texas ISD. That assignment was shortened to take advantage of owning a Brake and Muffler shop in Plano. She was the general manager of that business for 26 months when they sold out and retired to Canton, Texas.
She loved to cook, especially for large crowds, read, raise a garden, can vegetables and fellowship with members of her community and Bible study group. She was a faithful charter member of CrossRoads Church from its inception in 2006. She will be remembered as a dedicated faithful wife, mother, daughter, sister and special Grandma.
She is survived by her husband, Lamar Cossey, of the home. Daughter, Lisa Foote and her husband, Edwin of Plano, Texas, grandchildren, Emily and Haden Foote also of Plano, Daughter, Krystal and husband David Gonzales of Tyler, Texas and son, Steve Cossey of Euless, Texas. She is also survived by her only sibling, a sister, Mary Frances Gilbreath, of Fletcher, Oklahoma and a niece and nephew.
The family will receive visitors and friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday July 6, 2018, at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday morning the 7th of July at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Eubank Funeral Home. Dr. J. Mark Robinson, Elder Ed Killion and dear friend, Anna McDaniel will bring the memorial messages.

The family would like to publically thank Dr. Dailey, Meg and Holli of Health at Home Services, Inc. of Van, Texas and especially Kelly of Reflections Hospice of Texas, Quitman, Texas. These ministries the last few months of Terri’s life gave her peace, comfort and glorified God.
