Thomas Anson Temple

Thomas went home to the Lord on June 22, 2024 in Seagoville, Texas. He was born on March 30, 1946 in Canton, Texas to Alvin Temple and Alta Stephens Temple.

Thomas grew up in the Canton area and attended Canton High School. Thomas did his part in serving the country by joining the Army. He met and married his one true love, Sharon, on March 7, 1969. The couple had built a beautiful life and were married 52 years at her passing. Thomas provided for his family as an electrician. At home, he was busy raising cows and watching westerns. Thomas was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed going to the casinos, old country music and watching Shark Tank. More than anything, he loved and enjoyed time with family. Thomas will be dearly missed but live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Alta Temple; beloved wife, Sharon Temple.

Thomas is survived by his daughters: Mistee Swank and husband, Gaylord, Toni Rook and husband, Mike; grandchildren: Bryan Story, Aaron Wolter and wife, Jessica, Jade Steel, and husband, Duncan; great grandchild, Autumn Wolter; and Violet, soon to make an appearance; a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike Rook, Gaylord Swank, Robert Wolter, Aaron Wolter and Duncan Steel.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Cana Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas.
