

Toun Vilaysack, 75, of Wills Point, Texas went to his heavenly home surrounded by family on August 8, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1950, in Khongsedone, Salavane State, Laos, to Vy and Khouth Vilaysack.
A service celebrating his life will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home.
Toun graduated from high school in Kongsedone, Laos, in 1966. He graduated from a technical school in Vientiane, Laos, in 1968, specializing in welding. He worked for a Japanese company constructing the Nam Ngum Dam from 1969-1972. He met and married the love of his life, Phit Vilaysane, on April 6, 1970. Their first son, Vongvichit Thea Vilaysack, was born on April 7, 1971. From 1972-1974 he worked as a contractor for the U.S. Government. Their second son, Thonglit Tony Vilaysack, was born on March 5, 1973. He moved back to Nong Heen in 1974.
In November 1975, he bravely escaped being captured by the Communist Laos to Thailand. A month later he returned to Laos and got the family out of the country. He and the family courageously crossed the Mekong River into Thailand with two toddlers and a newborn, Phonetip Bing Thepsiri, who was only 15 days old at the time. The family stayed at the Refugee Camp until May 1976. He and the family arrived in Houston, Texas, in June 1976. After two months, Western Hills Church of Christ Brethren (George Grover) became their sponsor and brought him and his family to Fort Worth, Texas.
In 1977, Toun worked for a company cutting carpets. He started his American education at Weslyn College, then attended University of Texas Arlington. He earned his associate’s degree in auto mechanics and autobody from Tarrant County College. Toun attended the Preston Road Seminary and became one of the first Laotian Christian Preachers in the DFW area. He preached at Western Hills Church of Christ and Airport Freeway Church of Christ. Toun and the family welcomed the new addition to the family; Christina Noy Vilaysack who was born on 10 October 1985.
In addition to being a preacher, Toun owned several mechanic shops called VT Auto Repair serving the Springtown and DFW communities from 1986 - 2003. He also owned a nursery in Glenmora, Louisiana, called PT Nursery from 2003 - 2017.
Those who have passed before him and were there to welcome him into the kingdom of Heaven: Vy and Khouth Vilaysack (Parents), Vongvichit Thea Vilaysack (Son), Jalyn (Grandson), Sy Vilaysack, Vath Vilaysack, Adoun Vilaysack, two brothers and sister at birth (Siblings).
Those who are here to cherish his memory: beloved wife of 55 years, Phit Vilaysack; children: Thonglit Tony (Connie) Vilaysack; Phonetip Bing (Thung); and Christina (Tyrone) Vilaysack; grandchildren: Zachary Vilaysack, Hannah Vilaysack, Mallary Vilaysack, Isabelle Thepsiri, Kylie Vilaysack, Madeline Sam, Christian Vilaysack, and Rose Winston; siblings: Boumny Vilaysack, Nouane Sinthavong, Danny Ky Vilaysack, and Maxine Vilaysack; and a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Toun will be laid to rest at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas.
