Services for William H. “Bill” Ewing, 88, of Eustace, are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating. Burial will be in Haven of Memories.
Mr. Ewing passed away June 3, 2016 in Canton. He was born February 2, 1928, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Homer Curtis and Hazel Dell Evans Ewing.
Bill joined the Army and served in the Medical Corps in Europe as WWII was winding down. He then became a salesman for many large wholesale food suppliers. Bill enjoyed organic gardening, fishing, playing Bridge and genealogy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Christian by faith.
Mr. Ewing is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Curtis and Hazel Dell Evans Ewing; step mother, Wynona Ewing; and a sister Margaret True.
Bill is survived by his wife, Bernice Ewing of Eustace; son, William Robert Ewing and his wife, Diane Frazier Ewing of Mabank; daughter, Cheryl Ewing Mosman and her husband Jerome; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Reid, Doug Reid, Steve Reid and John Mosman.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
