

Ana Victoria Rivera, 90, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her home. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Angel and Agripina Maldonado Malavet. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Fort Myers where she was active in many church activities and was a former choir member. She enjoyed sewing, reading and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Legion of Mary and the Cursillo Movement .
She is survived by her loving family including her children, Delfi Taylor of Cape Coral, Angel (Ileana) Rivera of Saginaw, MI and Cape Coral; grandchildren, Delis Aviles, Elizabeth Craven, Michelle Foley, Lorraine Rivera Newberry, Angel Rivera, Jr., and Kristina Rivera; great-grandchildren, Amberleigh, Corey, Victoria, Alejandro, Ariana, Nicole and Morgan; sisters, Antonia Vasquez, Delia Pagan, Hilda Sanchez, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Felix Rivera and her son, Carlos Rafael Rivera.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 24th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2157 Cleveland Ave, Ft. Myers, with burial will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
