

Born in Salem, NJ, Art graduated from Pennsville High School and joined the Navy. He was stationed on the USS Nimitz, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier and deployed overseas for 3 years. He enjoyed Italy very much. After his honorable discharge, Art joined Lockheed Martin, an aerospace contractor where he traveled all over the US working on aircraft for 20 years. Art then moved to Florida to be near family. He changed careers and went to work for Lee county government as a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician for more than 25 years, He was planning to retire later this year. Art took pride in everything he did, to include his job, co-workers, family, friends, his home, and his football team The Eagles. He appreciated music, watching music videos, following trends, and playing the guitar his whole life. Art was smart, a deep thinker, and a talented musician. His favorite pastime was being outside, in the sun, at the beach, in the water, alone or usually with family, and playing with his cat. Art, with his soft deep voice, will be remembered with love and truly, truly missed.
