Christopher Curtis Macleod, 29 of Punt Gorda, FL passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born on April 5, 1983 in Port Charlotte, FL. Chris enjoyed spending time outdoors; mudding, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and putting his creative ideas to reality. Chris was a Handyman that could do anything if he tried. He worked for MacDonald’s in their Building and Equipment Maintenance department covering from North Port to Punta Gorda. Chris also worked for Executive Cooling and Heating. Chris was certified in Small Engine Repair and worked on lawn mowers for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his niece, Madison, nephew, Latrell like they were his own kids, and I’m sure he was disappointed never to have met his nephew, Trenton. Chris was very good hearted and would do anything he could for his friends and family.
Chris is survived by his loving family including his mother, Jenny Austin; brother, Sean and his family, Theresa and Madison (niece); sister, Erica Austin and Latrell (nephew); father, Curtis and his wife, Karen; maternal grandmother, Betty Muscato; paternal grandparents, Sandy and Bill Kakritz.
A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be at 1pm on Saturday, September the 22nd at Punta Gorda Elks Lodge, 25538 Shore Dr., Punta Gorda. Please visit www.coralridgefuneralhome to leave thoughts and memories for his family.
