Daniel Stephen Carlson, 76, of Cape Coral, passed away with his family by his side on February 15th, 2018. Daniel was born on June 16, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. He retired as a Materials Manager for Heinz Frozen Food in Fort Myers, and Dan was dedicated to his work so he found another full time job at Lee Health working in CSR for the last 7 years. One thing Dan loved was good food, and he was an amazing cook. He also made friends with everyone he came into contact with, and could make you laugh until you cried just by his sense of humor.
Unfortunately, Dan fought a courageous, yet short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He fought until his last day, and reminded us all of just what an unbelievably strong heart, soul, and drive he had.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carolyn Carlson.
His three children, Scott Ryba (Kathy), Keli Kareem (Laith), and Danielle Carlson.
His nine grandchildren, Jacki, Hannah, Samuel, Devin, Jackie, Ethan, Colin, Zane, and Elijah.
