David was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois on April 23, 1992 to Ronald Michael Mizaur and Jennifer Jeanne Jones Taff and was raised in the Chicagoland area. He graduated from Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, Illinois in 2010. David was an accomplished wrestler. He began his career with the Tinley Park Bulldogs youth wrestling program where he earned Hall of Fame honors and an IKWF State Championship. In high school, David was an IHSA 2009 state wrestling qualifier for Brother Rice High School. After high school, David enrolled in Iowa Central Community College to further pursue his wrestling career. In 2012, David enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. to serve his country. He served four years as a Marine at Camp Pendleton in California. After leaving the service, David joined his father Ron at Highland Foods as an Account Manager. David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt, and engage in water sports. However, among all interests, David really loved fishing. He fished on Lake Michigan with his family as a young man. He also fished in ponds, rivers and lakes in Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan. When David moved to Florida, ocean fishing continued to be his passion. David’s greatest love was his children. He enjoyed being a devoted father to daughter Hailey Mizaur, son Ronnie Mizaur, and stepson Bryden Peck. If David was not showing them how to fish, he was helping them out with their own interests in sports and other activities. David had a heart of gold. He would do anything to help people. He was loving, caring and thoughtful. It was not uncommon for relatives to get a text or call with a special message celebrating a birthday or other event.
