

Ellis Everett Green Jr. of North Fort Myers, Florida, better known affectionately as "Butch" to his family and friends passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at Gulf Coast Medical Center on Saturday, March 1, 2025 following some recent health challenges. He was 72 years old.
Butch was born in Lebanon, Missouri, the son of Eathel (West) and Ellis Everett Green Sr. He grew up in Camdenton, Missouri. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and spent the majority of his working years as a Real Estate Agent and Broker in Fort Myers, FL. His favorite pastimes were boating and fishing on the waters around Ft. Myers with loved ones. He leaves to cherish his memory his treasured sons Trey and Scott; a daughter-in-law and 2 precious grandsons; a loving sister Linda; a nephew, two nieces and a multitude of cousins and many others who were proud to know Butch and call him a friend. Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents; his adored wife Regina Lou (Acklin) Green; and beloved sister Dianne.
A memorial service for Butch will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Diplomat Wesleyan Church, 1833 Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, FL at 12:30pm with finger food served at 12:00pm.
At the conclusion of the services celebrated at church, family and friends will travel to Coral Ridge Cemetery, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, FL 33991, (239) 283-0540 where Military Burial Honors provided by the United States Army will be conducted at 2:00 PM. Immediately thereafter, Mr. Green's casket will be laid to rest alongside his dearly departed wife Regina Lou Green located in the Honor II Section of the Cemetery.
