

Eugene "Geno" Edward Aloia, 88 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born on August 12, 1928 in Chicago, IL. to Eugene and Josephine Germano Aloia. He was a graduate of Santa Monica High School and then received his Associates Degree in HVAC (heating and refrigeration). Mr. Aloia was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, the NBS Boat Club. He was sole proprietor of Geno’s Drive-In and AAA Classic Car Wash. He enjoyed boating and named his recent boat “Volare”.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Patricia Rose Garvey-Aloia; four sons, Michael Aloia, Tony (Debbie) Aloia, Jerry Aloia, Eddie (Roxanne) Aloia; grandchildren, Gina Aloia, Jami Aloia, Holly Aloia, Alexis Aloia, Avalon Aloia; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 7th at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd. S., Cape Coral.
Interment will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in his memory be made to Alzheimer’s Association Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 9220 Bonita Beach Road #223
