Frank Stanicki

Frank P. Stanicki, 85 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012. He was born on May 14, 1926 in Roselle, NJ to Albert and Mary (nee Midura) Stanicki. Mr. Stanicki built his family’s home in Clark, NJ where he and wife Doris (nee Lichty) raised their three children. He loved spending time outdoors where he enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking and arranging the family ski trips. He spent most Friday nights and Saturdays in his brother’s butcher shop. He retired from Palnut Company in Mountainside, NJ where he worked as an accountant. After retirement he moved to Cape Coral in 1986. Frank was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 66 years, Doris; daughters Carol (Fred) Neal of Berlin, MD and Jan (Dave) Weaver of Mt. Gretna, PA; daughter-in-law Leslie Stanicki of Denmark, ME; seven grandchildren, Jessica Stanicki, Erik Szper, Kati Coles, Robyn Lorom, Eric Stanicki, Megan Baker and Emily Baker; twelve great grandchildren, three sisters, Del Michalak of Lakewood, NJ, Martha Martin of Westfield, NJ and Jane Stanicki of NYC, NY; sister-in-law Kate Stanicki of Linden, NJ and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Jim Stanicki; brothers Walter, Lou, Charles and George (his twin) Stanicki; sisters Ann and Josephine; brother-in-laws John Michalak and Mike Martin; and sister-in-laws Pauline and Tess.

Memorial services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Burbage Funeral Home, 108 Williams St., Berlin, Maryland.
