He is preceded in death by Rose Marie Cruz, his wife of 55 years. He is survived by 4 loving children, Mary Elizabeth, Theresa, Bernadette and James and one sister, Mary Lou. “Poppy's” legacy will be carried on by his 9 beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, Jordan, Valerie, Jamie, Brian, Alyssa, Henry and Stella. He will truly be missed by his family and friends including Jan Mattas, his special friend, who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church at 11am on Friday, November 13th with entombment to follow to Coral Ridge Cemetery.
