

Hoa Thi Schneck, 72, of Cape Coral, passed away on December 19th, 2021 at Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida after complications from a severe hemorrhagic stroke suffered while returning home from her granddaughter, Alexis Cutler’s funeral.
Visitation, will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday December 22nd, 2021 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home Coral Ridge Funeral Home 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991. A Celebration of Life Gathering will commence afterwards around 7:30 PM at the Omelette Shoppe/Big 10 Tavern 4703 SW 16th Pl, Cape Coral, FL 33914.
A Catholic Mass and funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday December 23rd, 2021 at St. Andrews Catholic Church with Father Dan of St. Andrews, officiating. Burial will take place at a later date, after the new year, where Hoa will be laid to rest with the rest of her family that welcomed her with open arms from the day she stepped foot in this country, in the City of Delafield cemetery in Wisconsin. Arrangements are by Dignity Memorial.
Hoa was born in Vietnam. She met her husband, a United States Army soldier, while working as a bar maid in Vietnam, during the Vietnam war. She arrived in Wisconsin on December 10th, 1972. She then married Raymond Schneck on January 6th, 1973 in Waukesha, WI. She received her citizenship in 1981. She worked as a seafood clerk for Publix for 16 and a half years. She was a devoted member of St. Andrews Catholic Parish. She regularly donated to the United Way. She had a heart of gold and would give someone the shirt off her back and the last nickle or dime she had in order to help someone else. She was the hardest working, most stubborn, and feistiest little woman you could ever know. She complained about it, but ultimately enjoyed cooking for her friends and family.
Hoa is preceded in death by her son from Vietnam, her grandchildren, Alexander Rettig, and Alexis Rettig Cutler, and her Father and Mother in law Robert and Patricia Schneck.
Hoa is survived by husband Raymond Schneck, children Ame L Davis and s/o Brett Hoeppner, Heather Schneck and s/o Adam Cooper, Son-in-Law Michael Davis, Granddaughters Adrianne and Abbigayle Rettig, Grandson John Cutler, Brother and sister in laws Keith and Sherri Schneck and their children Cody Schneck and Brittani and Trey Blazic and children Piper and Aveline, Brother and sister in laws George and Karen Schneck and their children Jason Schneck and children Evalynn and Gideon, Stacey & Jason Howard and daughter Ariella, Amy, Danielle, Jennifer and son Bryden, Melinda and Daniel and children Tanner, Jayla, and Chloe,
Pallbearers will be Adrianne Rettig, Brett Hoeppner, Cody Schneck, and Mike Davis.
