Joan Barbara Conway peacefully passed on August 21st, 2021, surrounded by those who loved her. Born in March of 1944, Joan created a legacy. She was a loving wife, grandmother, friend, and most importantly, mother to her three children. The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Conway, her parents John and Lillian Imhof, and her Yorkie companion: Tia.
Her laughter and love lives on in her children: Stephen M. Callari, Scott Callari, and Jennifer Conner, Her beloved grandchildren: Megan, Eric, Ashley, Christopher, Andrew, Cayleigh, Jeremiah, and Robert, Her beautiful Great-Grandchildren: Faith, Hunter, and Reba, And her best friend of 57 years: Joan Ashworth.
Joanie managed to climb her way to the top in an incredibly stressful industry with admirable morale. She was indeed a pioneer of a woman, laying the foundation for her family's success. Her family will always remember her love of cottage cheese, and the solace she found in her milkshakes. But what will be remembered most about her is the unconditional love she felt for her friends and relatives.
The family will honor her wishes with a viewing at Coral Ridge on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 from 11-12:00, followed by the service until 1 PM. The family will also host a celebration of her life at 450 SW 6th St, open to whomever wishes to reminisce immediately thereafter. She will be carefully placed to rest in a personalized cremation niche, which can be visited at Coral Ridge by those who miss her.
