Kenneth John Kosrow

Kenneth "Ken" John Kosrow, 72, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL after a long and courageous battle with cancer. His loving wife Rochelle "Shelly" Kosrow was at his side, as always.

Born in Chicago, Ken lived most of his life around McHenry County, IL where he loved driving his Corvette or motorcycle, fishing, hunting, or tinkering in the garage on his many projects. He retired away from the cold to beautiful Cape Coral, FL where he and Shelly lived a quiet and sun-soaked life.

He spent much of his career as a tool and die maker at Grayhill in Carpentersville, IL where he made life-long friends and was able to travel the world, including many cherished trips to China.

Ken is survived by sons Kenneth Jr (Katie) and Christopher (Jessica); granddaughters Evangeline and Georgia, and sister Suzanne Kosrow. Also loving and missing him are Lynn (Tim) Lawler and family, Terri (Jeff) Pedersen and family, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous close friends.

Ken is preceded in death by parents John and Catherine (Schaff) Kosrow.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future back home in McHenry County, IL with details to follow.
