Kimberly Ann Lapinski

Kimberly Lapinski of North Fort Myers, FL passed away July 15, 2024 after a brief but nasty medical condition. Kim was born February 10, 1960 in Evergreen Park, IL to Donald Forbes Spankie & Sandra (Skora). She is survived by her husband Mark, son Jack (Stefanie) of Chicago, IL & son Grant (Mercedes) of Chandler, AZ. She also leaves behind many other loving friends and family members from all across our world.

Kim was a wonderful homemaker who dedicated her life to her husband and sons. She also donated her time delivering food to the needy for the Greater Chicago Food Depository for many years and frequently volunteered her time running the concessions for our local Little League in Chicago.

Thanks to Hope Hospice of Southwest Florida, Kim was able to spend her last days with joy and dignity at home, surrounded by her family and her friend of 50 years Debbie Singleton of Crawford, CO. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, August 16th at St. Richards Church (5032 S. Kostner Ave., Chicago, IL). Doors will open to the church at 10 am. Please come early and visit with Kim's family and friends before the service.

Interment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Road, Justice, IL). There will not be a formal funeral procession as Kim's wishes were to be cremated. The family asks that everyone please drive safely out to the cemetery and meet at one of the gathering points immediately inside the front gates off of Archer Road. We will give everyone ample time to get there and then proceed to the Mausoleum, where final services will be held.

After the services are over, the family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon at the Camelot Banquets (8624 W 95th St., Hickory Hills, IL)
