Happy belated Birthday Dad!!  Mom is home safe from Florida, we are headed to the cabin for Memorial Day and know you will be there with us to!!  Jacob and I reinforced the crane  on the log splitter there are always lots of projects we know you are proud of!  We miss you every day buddy and love you very much!!

Dear Lee, it is hard to believe that you have been gone for 5years. Some days are very difficult. I feel overwhelmed and I know with or without you I am blessed to have a loving family. You would be so proud of your sons. We have a new addition to the family. Jacob married a beautiful girl named Breleigh. And Lauryn is like the daughter we never had. Jacob amazes me. Dad, another year has passed, there is not a day that goes by where you are forgotten.  Your strength carries us through each day -- Mom is doing great, all is well at the resort, your many friends talk about you often and all the wonderful things you did for them throughout your life. To My Dad;
Time passes so quickly, a look to left or right, or a blink of an eye. Today all I wished for was for "My Dad" to walk through my office door and ask if it was OK to talk.  Maybe a project I put him in charge of "AKA-Matt Project" which I was eager for an update on, or maybe him being the every savvy "Dad" consultant giving me business suggestions (which were 99.9% accurate), or maybe he was bored and just wanted to listen to my classic "rant of all things bad", and then calmly insisted it wasn't that bad :)  He so anticipated the "roll of my eyes" and always gave me his small smile and laughed/shrugged "come on now, if it what that easy Matthew everyone would be doing it".  I wished I had ended each of those conversations with a simple, "I love you Dad".  My heart hurts with my my Family today, but I know my "Dad" is looking down on us and is proud and loves us dearly!  In closing I have but one thing I did not say enough,  "I Love You Dad!".

Jason, Matthew, Barb and family, today I send my sincerest heartfelt condolences, love, thoughts & prayers to you all for your loss. Lee Allan Sagorac, wow, what a guy. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore. He was a great man in every way. Some of my first memories of Lee were introducing him to my Dad & brother in an effort to organize a snowmobile trip between our two families up in Newald, WI. Lee had so much fun, he built a cabin there a few years later. Coincidentally, that is actually where one of my last memories of him are as well. It was recently, while helping Jason drill, dig and set posts for an addition to their garage. Lee sat in his chair outside watching us closely to make sure we were doing everything perfectly. I’ll never forget him saying, “You better hurry up and clear that hole Andy, Jason is almost there with that post, hurry up, here he comes”, all while grinning and giving me that famous Lee Sagorac look and twinkle in his eye. I’ll always remember Lee’s willingness to give helpful advise and encourage me to do everything to the best of my ability, or it wasn’t worth doing at all.  That advise obviously resonated with your sons & grandkids as it’s evident in everything they do. As a childhood friend to them, I learned quite a bit from you, but will always be your  “sluggy” Lee. You will be missed dearly. I love you and will leave by saying to you, “May the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand, and may the wind always be at your back”.  Rest assured, we’ll all keep your legacy alive in everything we do.  Godspeed my friend.

Today in FL we honor and celebrate the life of my Father Lee.  A loving husband, Dad, and most special to him being a Gpa.  We miss him so much and all the help he provided to me and my family.  My Dad was always there for everyone, and never said “no” when someone needed help.  My Dad guided and mentored me to become a successful business owner which he was so proud of.  My talks with him in my office will be sorely missed, and the shake of his head and smile when I vented and told him how frustrated I was that day at work.  He always knew what to say to put things in perspective and make me feel better.  I miss you Dad......
