Lester Kuhnapfel

Lester was born of the 9th of March, 1933 in West Babylon, Town of Babylon, NY. He was a sergeant in the USMC and served during the Korean War, a clam digger on the Great South Bay, an asbestos handler, and finished his career as head custodian for Sachem School District.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and was a qualified scuba diver with the National Association of Underwater Instructors.

Lester is survived by his wife, Helene; four children, Theresa, Helene, Lawrence and wife Angela, and Teddy, His youngest; three grandchildren, Desiree, Nicollette, and Brianna; and two great grandchildren Anthony and Angelina.

Lester is predeceased by his parents Theodore and Harriet, his three brothers Charles, Richard, and Donald; and grandson Frankie.

The funeral service with Military Honors will be held Friday, the 26th of February, 2021, starting at 5:00pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery at 950 Chiquita Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33991.

Visitation will begin at 3:00pm.
