

Maria Angela LoFaso, 88, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025. Born on December 21, 1936, in Bolgnetta, Sicily, Maria lived a life marked by love, faith, and selflessness.
A devoted Catholic, Maria’s deep faith was the foundation of her life. She was a woman of prayer, always seeking strength and guidance from God. Her unwavering faith provided her with comfort and peace, and she shared that same faith with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her daily prayers were a constant, and her spiritual devotion was an inspiration to her family and all who crossed her path.
Maria was also a gifted seamstress and an exceptional cook; known for her culinary talents and the warmth she shared through her food. She dedicated her life to caring for others, consistently putting the needs of her family above her own. Her love for her family was boundless, and she expressed it through her nurturing spirit and thoughtful actions.
Maria was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and nonna. She was the devoted wife of Francesco LoFaso for 66 years, sharing a lifetime of love and companionship. Maria was a cherished mother to her only child, Maria (Michael) Palermo, and a proud grandmother to Jessica (Greg) Bush and Kim (Brian) Conn. Her great-grandchildren—Brandon, Kamryn, Tyler, and Caedon—will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Maria is also survived by her three sisters, Nina, Rosetta, and Felicia, who were an important part of her life, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Maria’s kindness, strength, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a family deeply grateful for the love and care she gave so freely and unconditionally.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, March 3rd at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL between the hours of 11 - 1pm with service and entombment to follow. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on their lives.
