Mary Frances Reisdorf

The home state for Mary was South Carolina and her husband of 74 years, was North Java, NY, they met during WW11. Mary was in the U.S. Army Air Corps when she agreed to a double date with a Lieutenant Cornelius A. Reisdorf, who was also in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was returning from serving overseas. They married September 2nd, 1945, at Rosecrans Fields in Saint Joseph, MO. They settled in Denver, CO and spent the next 35 years where they raised two children, Mark Alan and Nancy Carol - and have enjoyed through the years, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary retired from Larson Distributing where she was the showroom consultant and interior designer for Larson Distributing Co. at the Denver Merchandise Mart. She also managed her own business as an Interior Decorator from 1965-1983. In 1988 they settled in Cape Coral, FL, where their life was full with activities at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church, the community and their friends and relatives in the area. Her husband passed in 2020 at 99 yrs.

She passed peacefully at Barrington Terrace in Ft. Myers.

Inurnment will be held at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery March 31st at 1pm. Refreshments will follow in the large hall in Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Any donations should be made to Cape Coral First Methodist Church, 4118 Coronado Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
