Nina Candiano Myers

Nina Candiano Myers, 77 of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019. She was born on September 25, 1941 in East Chicago, Indiana to John Ashenbaugh and Mildred Dopson Ashenbaugh. Nina moved here in 1972 from Munster, Indiana. Her enjoyments included cooking, shopping, watching golf and her time at the casino. She married Ralph Myers in 1996 in Covington, Kentucky.

Nina is survived by her loving family including her husband, Ralph Edwin Myers, Jr.; her children, Debbie Candiano of Cape Coral, John (Sharon) Candiano of North Fort Myers, Lisa (Jim) Heckler of Cape Coral; sister, Sandy (Jerry) Michalak of Crown Point, Indiana; grandchildren, Nina (Steffen) Vetter, Jena (Mike Harper) Turner, Michael Newborn, Amber Newborn, Sarah Candiano, Johnnie Candiano, Beau Candiano, John Ossanna, Mara Ossanna, Amanda Ossanna, Bronson Heckler, Brooke Heckler, Justin Heckler; great grandchildren, Madison, Luke, Ella, Peyton, Chase, Kaylin, Dean, Bronson. Nina is preceded in death by her son James "Jimmy" Ossanna and her first husband, John Mario Candiano.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm on Monday, April 29th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Entombment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
