Richard F Montgomery

Rich was born in Norwich, Connecticut, the proud son to Frances Angela (Wisniewski) and William James Montgomery. He was a retired Painting Contractor and as a younger man enjoyed the sport of bowling. Rich was the loving husband of 63 years to Betty Joan "Joanie" (Snyder) Montgomery whom he leaves to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his brother William (Bill) J. Montgomery; sister Lorraine Montgomery; three nieces; one nephew and a multitude of others he was proud to call friends. Rich was well-liked and will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by everybody he knew.

A Funeral Service for Rich will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2025 inside the Chapel at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 950 Chiquita Boulevard S, Cape Coral, Florida 33991, (239) 283-0540. Friends will be welcome to gather for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these services, friends and family will recess to adjacent Coral Ridge Cemetery where Rich will be laid to rest in the Garden of States.
