

Bob is preceded by his loving sister Ann Nixon Shea, and his twin brother Kenneth J. Nixon with whom he shared an everlasting and unbreakable bond.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Loraine (nee: Doney) Nixon; his cherished children, Sharon Nixon (Dave) Henry, Christine Nixon (T.R.) Gregory, Constance Nixon (Whitney) Leibow, Robert Calef, Jeanna Mastriano (John) Thiel, Erin Higley (Jeff) Fusco; his beautiful grandchildren, Spencer, Chad and Wesley Henry; Grace and Lucas Gregory; Shea and Eli Leibow; Alyssa and Grace Thiel; Chase Garrett; Jackson and Carter Fusco; sister in-law Sheila Nixon; brother in-law Tom Shea; very special cousin George Donovan.
Bob served in the United States Army, and was a very successful and innovative businessman. He owned Olsten Employment Agency for 20 years in Providence, R.I. Upon moving to Cape Coral, Bob was able to follow his passion for gardening by owning Cape Nursery in Cape Coral and Easterday Nursery in Bokeelia, FL for 16 years. He also opened a customized pottery and gift shop in Sarasota, Fl. and Cape Coral.
If ever there were an angel that walked among us, it was my love. He made such an impact on so many peoples lives, in such a heartfelt way, because it came from his heart, a beautiful loving heart, which knew no boundaries.
