Rose Ardolino

Rose Ardolino, 93 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on August 2, 2017. She was born on September 23, 1923 in Carbondale, PA to Ignacio and Maria Arcangelo. She moved to Cape Coral in 1973. Mrs. Ardolino was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She was active in scouting where she volunteered with the Girl Scouts and as a Cub Scout Den Leader. She worked for many years as a Polling Supervisor during the elections. She also was a “Room Mother” at school with her children.

Survivors include her children, Joan McLean of Fort Myers, Jane (Joseph) Matthews of Indialantic, FL., Phyllis (David) Thompson of Belford, NJ; Peter (Aileen) Ardolino of Cape Coral; sister, Anna Marie Martuscelli; grandchildren, Jason McLean, Paul McLean, Jeremy Matthews, Joshua Matthews, Justin Matthews, David Thompson, Lisa Preston, Sarah Reeder, Matthew Ardolino, Elizabeth Ardolino; Twelve great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Peter, sisters, Frances Cantaffa and Grace Vignolini, grandson, Jonathan Matthews; son in law, Thomas McLean.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Cape Coral with burial to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
