Roy Allen Phillips, 97 of Cape Coral, FL passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at his home. He was born on April 10, 1913 in Washington County, Indiana to Oren and Lucinda Griffin Phillips. He is a member of Southside Church of Christ, Fort Myers.
He is survived by his loving family including his children, Betty (Vernon) Ford of N. Fort Myers and Patrick Phillips of Greer, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Vernon Ford, Jr., David Ford, Doug Ford, Kim Phillips Daily and Beth Phillips Campbell; six great grandchildren, Eric Ford, Nick Ford, Michael Ford, Will Campbell, John Campbell and Rhea Daily. In addition to his parents, Roy is predeceased by his wife, Phyllis and son, Michael.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral with visitation 1 hour prior. Brother David Schmidt will officiate.
