Ruthie Amoyal, 75, of Cape Coral, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018. Ruthie was born in New Jersey, attended k-12th grade in Paramus, NJ and went to Bergen Community College where she received an Associates Degree specializing in Criminal Justice. From 1960 -1989 she worked for the federal government including the DEA. She then ran an entertainment business with her beloved deceased husband Maurice. Ruthie dearly loved her Chabad extended family and inspired her family to become more religious. She is survived by 2 sons, Jonathan Switzer from Virginia and Craig Switzer from Tennessee; 3 grandchildren Alexander, Susan and Shelly Switzer; 2 step-grandchildren Alana and Megan Silbert. She was preceded in death by Maurice Amoyal. A graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday, February 13th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Ruthie’s name to the Chabad of Cape Coral and Ft. Myers.
