She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years William Silcox; 5 dear sisters Elizabeth Gossic, Donna Rich, Evon Williams, Loretta Darna and Jacqueline Keller; 2 cherished step-daughters Deborah Silcox Ortiz and Joyce Marie Jack.
Vera is preceded in death by her parents Helen and Jake; brother Jacob; sisters Pearl Holloway, Louise Gladding, Alma Phillips and Mary Kolaz.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 7th at Coral Ridge Funeral Home and Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL, between the hours of 9 – 10:30am with service and burial to follow.
