Virginia "Ginny" Nellis Price

Ginny is survived by two sons, Dean (Linda) Price of N. Fort Myers, Mike (Kathy) Edwards of Cape Coral, three sisters, Rita Dube, Betty Hardy and Mary Bartlemus, one brother John Nellis; her beloved grandchildren, Levi, Dustin and Marshall Campbell, Stephanie Edwards, Maegan Price, Shelly Widman, one great-grandson, Randy Wildman. She also leaves behind her best friends, Nancy Tangerman and Marlyn Kandra. As well as many other close friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Campbell and her parents Ernest and Gertrude Nellis.

Her first job in life was being a great Mother to Mike, Cathy and Dean. Her favorite and most proud moment was becoming "Nanaw" to her beloved grandkids. Ginny worked for over 30 years as a Sailmaker and was the owner of Seaworthy Sails in Fort Myers. After retiring from the sail business in 2004, she became a CNA and took care of many patients until she became ill in January 2009.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Cape Coral, FL. She was a long time member of CMCS Sailing Club and always very active with the sailing community. Ginny enjoyed all things in life and was a firm believer in living for Today! She loved sailing, gardening, cooking for her friends and family, music and dancing. She was the life of the party. If you knew her you would never forget her.

Her strength and determination to live and overcome her cancer never wavered right to the end. She was an inspiration to all of us. She will be dearly missed by us all.

On Wednesday, March 31st visitation will be from 12:30 until the celebration of life service at 1:00 PM at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 S.W. Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, with interment to follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
