William Paul Yeary

Born on August 7, 1942, in Chillicothe, Ohio, Bill was the beloved son of Alec and Juanita Yeary. He married his high-school sweetheart, Vernie, in 1940, and they celebrated life together for 64 years.

A man of deep faith, Bill was known for his generosity, his love of golf and FGCU basketball, his love of spending time and traveling with friends and family, his dedication to supporting his daughter’s organization, Special Populations, and, above all, his unwavering love and support for his family.

Bill is survived by his beloved family: his wife, Vernadean, his daughter, Jackie, his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Jo Lynn, and his 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Juanita Yeary, his brother, Walter, and his sister, Marguerite.

At Bill’s request, there will not be a service. A gathering will be held at a later time (TBD), open to all friends and family.
