Our condolences to Doris and family.  Al will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by many.  Big hugs Doris.

To the Zandee Family we send our most sincere condolences on the loss of Allan, a gentleman who clearly was very special and much loved.  We had the pleasure of meeting Allan only a couple of times at Shuswap Lake.  Our favourite memory was taking him out on the lake in our 1940 Chris-Craft barrelback.  He enjoyed the tour and we enjoyed his company.  We have a framed photo of that boat that Allan made for us, hung on the wall in a prominent place at our house.  The picture frame came from some very old reclaimed wood from his farm.  That was a very special gift he gave us and we will always remember that day.

So sorry to here of the passing of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. He raised an amazing family. May your beautiful memories over the years    
provide you with comfort.

Al will always be my Dad next door ( and Doris my Mom next door). I spent so many, many hours in their home with JoAnn and I can never remember I time when I was told to go home. They surely must have wanted to.  No matter when I turned up, or how old I was,  I was always warmly invited in. 
Al gave the toast to the bride at my wedding. I think he felt honored to be asked but not particularly thrilled to do it. No one else would have filled the bill. I wish I had visited 2 years ago when I was home to hear what he was up to and listen to his warm chuckle. 
Too many fond memories to mention, ones that will never fade.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Al was a great friend and neighbor to us at Manor.
Condolences to the Zandee family.

Roy and Al worked for many years at 3 Star.
I remember Roy and Larry Jones got trapped at an oil site in the middle of a snow storm.
They finally got out and were invited for a good warm breakfast at Al and Doris"s i  Manor.  Got to know them and enjoyed our drop i n visits with them at the lake!
