

Bruce “Morgan” Fulton, 74, passed away on February 25 in Carmel, Indiana. Born January 22, 1952, in Covington, Kentucky he grew up in Erlanger, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Bruce Wrigley Fulton of Erlanger and late Sylvia (Morgan) Fulton from Oldham County, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janet (Schwartz) Fulton, his sons Alexander Joseph (Ashley), David Christopher, grandchildren Emerson and Eleanor Fulton, sister Donna (Fulton) Perkins and nephew Eric Perkins (Jessica) and 6 great nieces and nephews in addition to many cousins.
A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Morgan worked in sales in the printing and graphics specialties industry, retiring in 2020. Married in 1974, he moved with his family from Kentucky to Ohio and then in 2002 to Indiana. He enjoyed music from an early age, playing trumpet in his high school band where he was designated “most musical” in the Lloyd Memorial High School yearbook. In Indiana he began playing guitar and joined the Central Indiana Folk Music and Mountain Dulcimer Society where he served on the board of directors as secretary. In retirement he frequently joined Society members in playing guitar for community events. He was also a skilled carpenter and expert tinkerer who could build, fix, and remodel things, be they small or large.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at Leppert Mortuary, 900 N. Rangeline Road, Carmel, IN 46032. Leppert Mortuaries | Indianapolis
In lieu of flowers, individuals are invited to donate to the Fulton Family Fellowship, an academic scholarship for nursing students at the Indiana University School of Nursing.
