Gail C. Darling

85, of Carmel, Indiana, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 4, 2020.

Gail was born April 25, 1934 in Cincinnati to the late George and Pauline (nee Fuell) Diersing. She was a graduate of St. Xavier Parish Commercial School. Gail worked for American Roller Company for many years before retiring.

She was a kind and gentle soul who was devoted to family and faith. She enjoyed walking and being outdoors, but was happiest making memories with family and friends. Gail was a longtime and dedicated member of St. Clare Parish in Cincinnati where she was a familiar face at Mass and other social events.

Gail is survived by her loving daughters, Pamela (Carl) Wurtz and Peggy (Tom) Bonnell; her beloved grandchildren, Emma Wurtz (fiancé Montana Cady), Jacob (Christina) Bonnell, Ali (Micah) Sulaiman and Sam Bonnell (Alysssa Rae); dear siblings, Lois (Jim) Marconi and Dan (Evelyn) Diersing; dear sisters-in-law, Sue Diersing and Arlene Diersing and brother-in-law, John Donohue.

Gail was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Donohue and brothers, Tom and Jim Diersing; and former husband, Roy Darling.
