Aleyamma Jacob

Aleyamma (Aleykutty) Jacob was born on August 3rd, 1937 to T. Varghese and Sosamma John. She is the fourth child of eight children all who were raised in the Marthoma Church in Kuzhikala, Kerala. Aleyamma married P.O. Jacob from the Ponnezha Kizhakethil family and moved to Chennai, Madras where they raised their five children. God Continued to bless Aleyamma, allowing her to witness all her children getting married. She was able to come to the United States in 1995 to visit her Son's family and new grandchild for six months. Shortly after, her husband was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 1996, but God continued to bless her family throughout her life, giving her six grandchildren.

Years later, Aleyamma Jacob along with her son and daughter's family immigrated to the United States in Fall of 2018. She was able to be surrounded by most of her children and grandchildren.

Aleyamma Jacob was an amazing sister, a loving wife, and a sweet mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord with all her heart as she was a member at St. Mary’s Orthodox Valiyapally Dallas.

She is survived by her children: Elsy & Johnson, Sunny & Sissy, John & Molly, PJ Mathew & Mini, & Sibi. Her grandchildren are Teena, Jeffy & Joby, Tiffany, Nithin, Jubi, & Merlin. She is also survived by her two sisters: Sosamma Joseph (Kerela) & Gracy George (Bhopal).
