She was born in Paris, TX to Leslie and Esma Chapman on September 12, 1934. Billie was an accountant for a steel company as well as the city of Paris and Carrollton.
Billie had a passion for all animals and loved her dogs and cats dearly. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking and relaxing by the pool. She treasured her time with Larry, playing slot machines at Win Star and Vegas. Unlike Larry, she always walked away a winner.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Eugene Chapman.
Billie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Larry Day. She is also survived by her siblings; sister, Carol Crews and her husband Robert and brothers; George Chapman and his wife Jennie, Leslie Chapman and his wife Mary Don and sister-in-law, Eleanor Chapman.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm Monday, May 8, 2017 at Rhoton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Rhoton Funeral Home.
