Casandra was raised in Guadalajara, Mexico where she graduated from Univa in 1988. She had a strong passion for traveling. Growing up her father worked for the airlines and she followed in his footsteps working for American Airlines in Mexico for 10 years.
On February 6, 1998 she married the love of her life, David Henry Stallings. The couple moved to the United States that same year and the two welcomed their son, David Stallings Jr. a few months later. In 2001 the family moved back to Mexico after the passing of Casandra’s father, Carlos, to be closer to her mother. After nine years in Mexico the family moved for a final time back to the United States where they settled in Carrollton, Texas. In the states she worked as a property manager for Bright Industries for 5 years.
In her spare time Casandra enjoyed reading, Thia Chi, and gardening. She was especially skilled at keeping her many orchids alive throughout the seasons. Her favorite past time, however, was spending time with her two well-loved beagles, Romeo and Juliet.
Casandra’s family will always remember her kind, elegant, and strong-willed personality. One trait she was known for was her appearance. Casandra was always cautious about having a little make up on in case a guest showed up and she was skilled at curling her lashes with a spoon.
One major accomplishment Casandra had was being granted Spanish Nationality, after 17 years of hard work she achieved it just a month before her passing.
Casandra is preceded in death by her father, Carlos Manuel Ruisanchez Gutierres, and sister, Iliana Ruisanchez
She is survived by her mother; Martha Ruisanchez. Husband; David Henry Stallings, children; Casandra Schulenberger and David Manuel Stallings Jr., siblings; Patricia Perez, and Carlos M. Ruisanchez. She is also survived by a grandchild due soon.
