Cedric Dean Holloway

Cedric Dean (Shorty) Holloway was born August 26, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee to Herman Campbell and Arthemese Holloway who preceded him in death. Cedric was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family and community. He was baptized at an early age at Keel Avenue Baptist Church under the late Reverend P. Moody.  He graduated from Northside High School class of 1976. He enjoyed fishing, especially night fishing and he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He was called to his heavenly reward on May 6, 2023

He moved to Dallas in the early eighties and began a career as a Realtor for 30 years.  He was a 33 degree Mason and was faithful to his lodge for a number of years. His wife Karen, whom he loved dearly, proceed him in death in 2018.

Cedric leaves to mourn and memory his transition, a son, Brandon(La Toia) Holloway, grandchildren, Keondrea Johnson and Jordan Holloway. As well as two great-grandchildren.  Cedric had two brothers who proceed him in death, Leroy Bruce (2015) and Derrick Lynn Holloway (2021), Cedric leaves his brothers, Dr. Justin. Bryan and Gerard Holloway. His sister, Carla Y. Jonathan, The Matriarch of the Holloway family, Vanessa M. Holloway, sisters-in-law, Ruby, Barbara, Carla, brother in law, Vincent and several nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends to mourn his passing.
