Charlene Yarbro Thompson Smith

Charlene passed peacefully, leaving behind many who love her. Starting her life's journey as an Arkansas farm girl, she loved animals, beautiful flowers and warm sunshine. She lived many places during her life and worked in banking, real estate and retail. She loved to read mystery novels and watch scary movies. Her granddaughters were her favorite people and she was always surrounded by her beloved dogs.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husbands Charles Ray Thompson and Jack H Smith, daughter Daniele Danon Thompson, parents Charlie and Dolly Yarbro, sisters Patsy Gelinas and Barbara Jean Crowe and brother Charles Yarbro, Jr.

Charlene is survived by her children, Kevin Thompson and Cheri Warner, son-in-law Wally Warner and granddaughters Amanda Warner, Alannah Warner and Aja Warner, and step-granddaughter Michelle Mitchell.

A funeral service for Charlene will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 9:00 AM at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 North Stemmons Freeway @ Crosby, Carrollton, Texas 75006. Interment to follow at 10:00 AM at Hilltop Memorial Park, 1810 N. Perry Rd, Carrollton, Texas 75006.
